The name Muktinath is a combination of two Sanskrit words namely ‘Mukti’ meaning nirvana or salvation and ‘nath’ meaning master. It is followed by both Hindus as well as Buddhists and each one of them believe Muktinath Temple as the place experiencing the presence of the five elements i.e. water, fire, sky, air and earth. Many people consider it as the Mukti Kshetra that is identified amongst top 8 most sacred areas of the world. A trip to Muktinath Temple has always been a satisfaction for the travellers present here. There are 108 running fountains in the Muktinath Temple whose water is used by the devotees to purify them and attain salvation. The Muktinath Temple is accessible either via a drive or flight and it totally depends upon the traveller on what all he is preferring.
Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, check in to your already booked hotel there. Later, pay a visit to the holy Pashupatinath Temple and the Jal Narayan Temple. Overnight stay at your hotel.
Enjoy some breakfast and then you will be flying towards Pokhra. Stay overnight in your pre-booked accommodation at Pokhra.
Wake up and check out from your Pokhra’s hotel. Today morning, you are going to fly towards Jomsom. On ultimately reaching there, drive towards Muktinath Temple. Spend some time in the temple and afterwards, return to Jomsom for an overnight stay at a hotel there.
This day is meant for you to fly back to Pokhra. Ultimately, arrive at Pokhra and then visit the David Falls & Gupteshwar Temple. Stay overnight at a hotel located in Pokhra.
Have breakfast and then it is the time for you to fly towards Kathmandu. Arrive there and get an assisted transfer to your pre-booked accommodation. You can then spend the remaining time of the day in some shopping and other leisure activities.
Once done with your breakfast at the hotel, you will be driven to the airport to board your flight towards your home/onward destination.
