The spiritual aerial trip for darshan

Holy Kailash mount and Mansarovar lake organised by Max Holidays was amazing. We could have almost clear glimpse of these holy places according to Hindu religion even though the weather was a bit foggy. It was otherwise enjoyable also by having sight seeing of white clouds, bright sunshine, and a part of Himalayan range at a height of 27000 ft above sea level.

Darshan of holy Mansarovar lake were really fascinating and all yatris were filled with spirit chanting Har Har Mahadev. The organisers’ hospitality, energy and arrangements were really praiseworthy. Some of the glimpses of these holy places caught by us during the trip are shared here for other benefit of persons interested in such visits.

The journey was physically demanding due to the high altitude and challenging terrain, but every step was worth it. Seeing the majestic Mount Kailash brought me a deep sense of peace, gratitude, and spiritual fulfillment.

The natural beauty of the Himalayas is truly breathtaking. Max holidays managed the logistics well, and the guides and support staff were helpful and encouraging throughout the journey. Proper acclimatization, medical support, and teamwork made the expedition safer and more enjoyable.

Max Holidays group took excellent care of us right from the moment we landed in Kathmandu airport - highly recommend them for your kailash yatra / the on ground team was exceptionally patient, kind and organized.

I visited Kailash Mansarovar with Max Holidays on 17th May 2026

I had been planning this trip for the past three to four years; however, permit issues for Resident Indians had previously made it difficult. Overall, my experience with Max Holidays was positive. The company ensured that all paperwork was completed in advance. The Sherpa team provided attentive support in both Nepal and Tibet. All meals were freshly prepared, and the team ensured that everyone was served.

The best part of our trip was that it started and ended on time without any delays or hassle at the border check points.

One improvement I would recommend to Max Holidays is enhancing its communication with clients. Even during periods of high activity or when managing logistics, it remains important to provide regular updates to clients, which was missing in my case.

Trip was a dream come True.

With Mahadev's blessings, we completed the tour and return back home safe. Food throughout the journey was homely. Every task has some goods and improvement factors and 3 biggest improvement I shall suggest is about the batch size. Trip co-ordinator lacked the required attention during tour which made us slightly disappointed.

Secondly, leaving everything on Chinese guides was frustrating for we all travellers. Most horrifying was the shouting and fighting attitude of guides was not at all in good taste, particularly, when we are in other nation. Chinese guides made weather as a reason for demotivating travellers at every hour.

Thirdly, due to non availability of any MaxHoliday responsible person with us in China, Chinese guides assumed that they are the owners. Issues were also faced like not arranging pony for senior citizens even after paying advance amount and pony were alloted to young age people, who can do parikrama well by foot. Luggages were misses out at several instances for couple of day, including, Myself, which resulted in additional expenses at Tibet.

In all, things could uave been better if some responsible person from Max could have been present instead of leaving the show to chinese guides who tampered tour operators name and reputation. Personally, shall think twice before recommending Max Holidays for someone enquires. I have been traveller extensively throughout India, incl multiple foreign tours but never seen foregn guides dominating their opinion like we experienced during our tour. Feel good for having very nice darshan of Kailash but feel very bad for not completing Patikrama due to terrorising by Chinese guides. Shall certaining again do this journey soon but with a proper and I depth survey before closing tour operator. In all, we compromised many of our wishes during this tour and shall regret it for long.

I and my wife from Bengaluru had the privilege of undertaking the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra in 2026 with Max Holidays, Delhi and it has truly been one of the most memorable and spiritually fulfilling journeys of our life. Overall, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend Max Holidays to anyone planning this sacred pilgrimage. From the time of booking until receiving the completion certificate after the yatra, the entire team was extremely professional, responsive, and supportive.

A special thanks to Mr. Dipesh for his outstanding patience and guidance throughout the entire process. He was always available to answer our questions and helped us with every aspect of the preparation—from bookings, travel insurance, packing lists, currency exchange and thermal clothing recommendations to several other practical tips. His support made the preparation phase smooth and stress-free. I would also like to sincerely appreciate Mr. Narayan, our Nepali guide, who took care of us throughout the entire 14-day journey, from Kathmandu until our safe return. His calm nature, experience, and dedication ensured that every yatri felt cared for during this challenging pilgrimage.

The hotels and food arrangements throughout the trip were also very good. Considering the remoteness of the Kailash route, Max Holidays did an excellent job in providing comfortable accommodation and quality meals. Another aspect I really appreciated was the Day 1 orientation session conducted by Mr. Vishal Gogia, The Founder and CEO of Max Holidays. The briefing gave us a very clear understanding of what to expect during the yatra, the challenges we might face, and how to prepare ourselves physically and mentally. It was extremely informative and helped set the right expectations.

During the yatra, the Max Holidays team also conducted daily briefings for the next day's journey. They guided us on weather conditions, appropriate clothing, food intake, rest, hydration, and acclimatization. These briefings were very helpful in ensuring everyone's safety and comfort.

Max Holidays arranged the Yatra very well

Nepal Team Dhan Bahadur, lok bahadur and from Tibet team Tenzen you all are profesional and guided us very well throughout the journey. The only thing I did not like was the packed food of Day 1 and Day 2 parikrama. Biscuits are not good for health I guess. They are not energy boosters. You should have given fruits like bananas , some dry fruits Or energy boosters that have more instant energy while doing parikrama. Rest all of team is fantastic and arranged every thing very well. Just one suggestion, when you ask us for travel insurance also please let people know which company is good in Tibet so that Tibet guide can contact them immediately as most of the yatris do not have we chat working. Also there should be a counter for used sticks and so that that new yatris can use old sticks. No need to purchase new sticks.

Despite some unavoidable weather and situational challenges, we were blessed with divine darshan of Kailash Parvat, Lake Manasarovar, Rakshastal, and Astapad. Both times it was excellent arrangements and hassle free travel. This time, it couldn't have been more perfect, could complete the outer parikrama and the ground staff have been incredible right from Nepal to Kailash and back. I recently completed the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra with maxholidays.com, and overall, it was a memorable and well-managed experience. The food, stay arrangements, and hospitality provided throughout the journey were very good. The staff was supportive, caring, and made sincere efforts to ensure the comfort of the travelers, which I truly appreciate. However, I would like to highlight one important issue. During the two trekking days, packed drinking water was not provided, which created difficulty for many travelers. As a result, some people had to drink local water, and a few experienced stomach upset. Since trekking at high altitude is physically demanding, access to safe drinking water is very important. Apart from this concern, I genuinely appreciate the hospitality and efforts of Max Holidays in making the yatra comfortable and memorable. With better management of drinking water during trekking days, the experience can become even better for future travelers.

I have participated in the 3 days Arial view of Manasarovar and Kailash Mountain tour arranged by Max Holidays, from 14.02.26 to 16.06.26. We had good Arial view of Manasarovar and Mount Kailash on 15.02.26, Sivarathri day. I am extremely satisfied with the arrangements made by Max Holidays for this tour. Accommodation, food and transportation are excellent.

The tour is for Pilgrimage and spiritual. Naked eye visual feeling is a must. Only window seat allotted person can view and take photography during the trip. Non-window seat allotted person cannot view as it is kept blocked by the window seat payment. This anomaly is to be resolved by the Max HolidayOther wise Non-window seat allotted person cannot fulfil the objective of the trip organised by Max Holidays. This could be treated as deficiency in rendering services. By reducing the price of the non-window seat you cannot lure person where the main objective of the pilgrimage tour remains unfulfilled. So, to resolve the issue you must keep equal tariff with equal viewing facility. Make provision of window seats only. Distribute in groups/ batches.

Rotate and shift passengers from non-window to window during the aerial view which should be strict policy for the same so that none should get deprived of the organised tour. Hope Max Holidays would think and would do needful for the same. To stop pilferage of the committed associated gifts , you better deliver the same in the respective rooms allotted with traveler names and take sign on the enlisted paper to keep an account that everyone has been delivered. Alike Rudraksh bead chain, it would be highly appreciated if souvenir ( magnetic) of mount Kailash and Mansarovar lake could be arranged with your logo. You can club Shree Airlines too in that. Airlines window pane to keep clean before trip for clarity of the view. Otherwise everything was fine. Our sincere gratitude to Max Holidays. **Note: For restricted mobility traveler : wheelchair ( one no.) is available in the nice hotel and more in airport. While crossing Nepal border check post all is to get down and to carry luggage for screening. Foldable trolley may help or trolley bag to carry luggage. Passage is stony not a plane one and very bad. Aadhar card original or digital soft copy in mobile enough. Porter assistance should be made available by Max Holidays being the Tour organizer for the limited mobility traveler.

I have fulfilled my dream of visiting Lake Manas sarovar and Mount Kailash at an age of 68 travelled to Kathmandu alone, with the help of experienced and efficient planning of the tour by Max Holidays. I was in 1st to14 th September 2025 overland batch from Kathmandu. The organisers took all necessary care for smooth conduct of yatra with out any notable discomfort to the pilgrims. I had the blessing to undertake the Shri Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2025 with my wife and a close friend through Max Holidays in the month of Shravan. It was a truly spiritual and unforgettable journey.

The arrangements were smooth—travel, accommodation, meals, and safety checks were well managed. Of course, there were some challenges on the way, but we were well informed about them in advance, and they are naturally part of this sacred journey.

A Lifetime Experience at Kailash Mansarovar in Shravan Month...

I had this lovely opportunity to visit Kailash Mansarovar in July, holy Shravan month. Big thanks to Max holidays, and Nimisha for organizing this tour. It is not a luxury trip, but a journey of surrender, faith, love and trust in the entire process, challenges and tests you go through. With all the uncertainities around permit, visa approvals, weather conditions, flight reschedules, low oxygen levels, very modest living conditions, there was so much of if's and but's in mind, but trust Mahadev, and everything would be taken care of. I had my lifetime experience when I completed this Pradakshina, to be honest, all worth it. Porters, Cooks, Guides at Nepal, Tibet side were kind and supportive throughout journey. I consider them equally responsible for successful journey.

My only suggestions for Max Holidays, that can help enhance their services further (not sure how much of it would be feasible due to high uncertainities around multiple aspects in this journey and tough situations around visa, permits, weather conditions, etc.)

1) Reducing size of batches (we were 72 people in our group)

2) Creating separate batches/ groups for big family travellers vs solo travellers for effective and smooth operation and management in Nepal, Tibet (China) side.

3) Having one Max representative throughout the journey along to manage travellers queues for internal flights, handling tickets/passports, room allocations, concerns/queries all along to ensure fair practice for all travellers, accountability and responsibility of the entire journey.

4) Not charging extra for full moon trips when there is high uncertainity of travellers not reaching by that time

Very well organized. The yatra was taken care of at each place . A point of suggestion is that while on return also you must cater of lunch and dinner as it gets extremely late to reach final destination point and that should also be considered. I have recently completed overland yatra along with 3 of my friends to Kailash Mansarovar from Kathmandu with Max Holidays. Nimisha from Max has guided and informed us about progress of our yatra in professional and timely fashion. Max has organised the yatra flawlessly from accommodation, transportation, food, visa formalities to managing the group. Quality of food on whole trip was excellent. Communication from Sherpas, guides and especially Narayan bhaiya was awesome. All the hotels stays were beyond words. Buses were so comfortable that we never felt tired. We will definitely recommend Max Holidays to all our known ones. Toilets during parikarma days is a problem but it was well communicated in advance and we were prepared for same.

Well-Organized Kailash Mansarovar Journey with Great Support...

This was my first trip to such a high-altitude place, and I was nervous at first. But the arrangements were so good that I could focus on the yatra instead of worrying about small things. The buses were comfortable, the food was simple and tasty, and we always had someone to guide us on what to do next. The parikrama was the most challenging part, but also the most rewarding. I’m so thankful for Max Holidays and the team like Sakshi mam and Dipesh who really helped us for this Yatra, they really answered all our queries.

Max Holidays Made Our Kailash Mansarovar Yatra Truly Memorable

Ofcourse sometime accommodation can be a bit tricky but it is the same with any other pilgrim place. Vegetarian food was served to us which was fantastic throughout. Outmost care and attention was given to our acclimatization for the high altitude. We always followed the instruction of the tour guide and trusted them for taking decisions which are good for us. We booked for a Shravan Purnima at Mansarover but due to congestion on China border and at Thirapukh tour guide decided to get there a night after which we all agreed and we had a very good time with Lord Shiva blessings at the Holy Mansarover Lake & the North Face of the Holy Mount Kailash.

We all did full parikrama and in my personal experience Lord Shiva has taken all my fears and cleared my doubts.

I am so blessed to have booked with Max Holidays, further they handed us over to the capable hands of Shivam Group in Kathmadu. The whole journey is the most memorable trip of my life as yet. The spiritual gain is beyond words for me and to check whether my Yoga classes are working for me this is the best yardstick I could have had.

We choose max holidays as our travel partner for kailash mansarovar yatra by road via kathmandu. Sakshi mam helped us with all the details and process. They have great connects in Nepal, China-Tibet to handle difficult situations which are inevitable in such a high risk travel. You need to be physically and mentally prepared for it. Kailash Yatra 2025: A Challenging Yet Soulful Experience

We did Kailash Yatra through max holidays this July.It was a very divine experience .As the Yatra has begun after a few years it’s difficult for everyone involved ,but sakshi was patient enough to answer our queries .After being on the tour we realised most of the things are difficult to manage in those regions including permits,visas ,food and travel itself .A special mention to our Nepali guide especially Dhan n Narayanji ..u were patient with us all through the journey.We had a lovely Darshan and a great Parikrama .Not thee perfect arrangements by max holidays but now we know better after completing it..it’s not about perfection but the joy of the journey that it was .. one to cherish lifelong .Thank you max holidays.

Trip to Kailash Manasarovar was a dream come true moment for me personally, organized to perfection by Max Travels. Right from pick up from Lucknow airport, the tour guides have been extremely supportive and took care of the entire group throughout the tour. Food and stay arrangements were good. Did Kailash Mansarovar Yatra recently with Max Holidays and I must say their services were excellent. The accommodation, guides, support on-ground — everything was well managed. There was some waiting time for the permit, but we knew from the start that such delays are normal for this kind of yatra. It involves cross-border travel with strict rules. The company was upfront about it and handled things patiently.

We took the tour from 26 Aug to 04 Sept'2023. It was a wonderful experience. We were 10 in our tour and everyone came with different spiritual backgrounds. It was a full moon trip. Max Holidays provided excellent services throughout. They checked out oxygen levels regularly for all travellers and provided support when needed. Accommodation provided were shared and reasonably good for the places. Services such as porter can be improved but it is on the Tibet side. Food was provided by on site cooks who travelled with the group. Schedule changes could have been communicated better. Vidushi was excellent. Overall our trip was excellent.

Max Holidays and their partners did a great job with all the way from receiving us from Nepal airport to sorting the China visas and providing good accommodations. our guide Dorgie and his team who accompanied all the way on this trip (Nepal- Tibet-Nepal) were great and looked after us really well with a smile. I am impressed how organized they are and planned despite the tough weather conditions out there. will definitely book through Max holidays again.

Kailash Manasarovar Yatra.

Taking care of one's group is great. But helping people of other group is greatest. This we found in Vishal of Max Holidays. When our tour operator, Nepal Pilgrim Travels, Mylapore, was nowhere to be seen and who had left us high and dry, it was Mr. Vishal who helped us a lot. Stranded at Hilsa on 3rd July and when some of us were ill he brought in his team doctors immediately and assured us that we would be taken care of.
