• Day 01 (12 Aug'2024) : Arrive Kathmandu

  Upon arriving at Kathmandu’s Tribhuvan International airport, the all the travellers will complete the immigration and custom clearance formalities (non-Indian passport holders can receive their Nepal entry visa on arrival from dedicated Visa counter inside the airport. For their ease they may also apply visa online in their own country). Outside the airport our representative will welcome you and will organise for a transfer to your hotel. Today the first meal in Kathmandu will be dinner and night stay will be in a handpicked 3 star hotel.

  Visa for Non-Indian passport holders : For entering into Nepal, visa can be obtained on arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport Kathmandu against the visa fee which is approx US$35. In order to obtain China entry visa, we need to submit the original passport with application form, coloured recent photograph and visa fee to the China Embassy in Kathmandu only. The China Embassy takes min 3-4 working days to issue such visa. Therefore non-indian travelers must plan their inward journey to Kathmandu accordingly.

• Day 02 (13 Aug'2024) : Temple visits in Kathmandu

  Start your day with breakfast at your hotel and then visit the renowned Pashupatinath Temple followed by a visit to Jal Narayan Temple and Guheshwari Temple.

  Mountain Flight (Optional Tour): An hour mountain flight over the world’s highest mountain peaks can be a feast for the eyes of the travelers. The flight departs at around 06.30am from domestic airport. If you want to take this trip, please book in advance to avoid non-availability of seats.

• Day 03 (14 Aug'2024) : Temple visits in Kathmandu

  In the morning after breakfast take a drive to Shri Kailashnath Mahadev temple which is situated about 20 kms out of the Kathmandu city. The world's largest Shiva statue here is the main attraction. After visiting Kailashnath Mahadev temple continue to Bhaktapur to visit Doleshwar Mahadev Temple which is known as the head part of Shri Kedarnath ji, situated in Uttarakhand in India. Rest of the time will be free to relax before we start the trip to Kailash Mansarovar the next morning.

• Day 04 (15 Aug'2024) : Free Day Kathmandu

  This is an additional day in Kathmandu. Relax in the hotel or go out to explore the beautiful places in and around Kathmand. We expect the China embassy to give decision on group travel visa for Kailash Mansarovar Inner Kora. Night stay and food will be served in the hotel

• Day 05 (16 Aug'2024) : Kathmandu To Syabrubesi

  Have some breakfast and then get into your bus for heading towards Syabrubesi via Dhunche. You might find this ride a difficult one since the road conditions in this route are not favourable. Despite of the distance being only 145 kms, you shall be reaching your destination in no less than 7 hours due to the miserable roads here. Give a midway halt to have some lunch at a highway restaurant and then drive further to complete your journey. Finally, arrive at Syabrubesi and then stay overnight at a pre-booked guesthouse there.

• Day 06 (17 Aug'2024) : Syabrubesi (Nepal) to Kerung (Tibet)

  Wake up early morning and then have some breakfast before starting your drive towards the Nepal-China Border. There you will be completing your immigration and other custom formalities. Cross the Nepal border and then enter China side from where you will be further driving to arrive at Kerung / Kyirong (also known as Gyirong) accompanied with a Tibetan guide. Stay overnight at your hotel in Kerung / Kyirong.

  Meals included: Veg Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Max. Elevation: 2700m, Distance Covered: 125 kms / 4 hours approx, Accommodation Style: Hotel or Guesthouse on sharing basis

  Important Remark : As you are staying now travelling in high altitude, there might be some consequences of uneasy feeling with your health, therefore it is advised to all travelers that they drink liquid more as possible that may be in any form of soup, juice, tea, coffee or hot water etc. This will help they in rehydration as well as in improving the breathing system.

• Day 07 (18 Aug'2024): Kerung to Saga

  Today you are free to spend your day as you want. Acclimatize your body in the weather conditions of Tibet either by walking in the local markets here or staying in the hotel for the whole day. If situation does not permits, the guide may decide to stay back at Kyirong for this night.

• Day 08 (19 Aug'2024) : Saga To Lake Mansarovar (Full Moon night)

  This day is known as the most important day of the Kailash Manasarovar Yatra since today, you are not only going to experience a great stay near Lake Manasarovar but also you will be getting to see the first view of the holy Mount Kailash. Thus, have some breakfast at your guesthouse, drive towards Lake Manasarovar. Reach there, check-in to your pre-booked accommodation near Lake Manasarovar and then, you can perform the rituals there and also enjoy holy bath nearthe Lake Manasarovar.Please be informed that a dip in the holy lake is not permitted. You may ask the sherpas to bring holy water in a bucket so that you may sit on the corner of the lake and take holy bath. Stay overnight at your accommodation near Manasarovar.

  Full Moon Night view of Lake Mansarovar : In the night the travelers may pay a visit to Lake Mansarovar to witness its beauty under the moon light. Though visiting lake in the night is completely safe but it is advisable to go in a group and if possible take a Nepalese Sherpa with you for any required help. Cover yourself properly with warm clothes or blanket as the temperature outside will be cold. Also don’t forget to carry a torch and a whistle.

• Day 09 (20 Aug'2024) : Lake Mansarovar To Darchen

  This day marks another important day of the Kailash Inner Kora tour. Today, you will have to wake up early and visit Lake Manasarovar. Spend some of your time in taking the holy bath and also performing Pooja rituals on the banks of Lake Manasarovar. Later, have some lunch and then start your drive to reach Darchen (base of Mt. Kailash) from where you will see the 'Southern face of Mount Kailash' (considered to be the back of Lord Shiva in Hindu literatures). Arrive at Darchen and then check-in at your hotel. Spend your time in preparing for your next morning’s trekking and then stay overnight there.

• Day 10 (21 Aug'2024) : 1st Day Kora of Mt. Kailash, 12 Kms Trek To Dhirapuk

  Start your divine walk from Mount Kailash’s South Face to reach its Northern face at Dirapuk. You can either undertake this trek on foot or on horse. This is an easy trek to Mount Kailash and is completed after trekking for a distance of 12 kms. Those devotees who do not want to be a part of this trek can stay at Darchen and wait for the other group members to complete their trek till they finally come back to Darchen.

  Those who are trekking will be staying overnight in a lodge at Dirapuk that would be very near to the North Face of holy Mount Kailash.

• Day 11 (22 Aug'2024) : 2nd Day Trek To Charan Sparsh (Touching The Feet of Lord Shiva)

  Have some breakfast at your guesthouse and then start your challenging but a highly rewarding trek towards the Charan Sparsh (Touching Mount Kailash). Those people who are physically as well as mentally fit can undertake this trek. Through it, you will be reaching the foot of the mount to touch Kailash (touching the holy feet) and then start your back journey towards Dirapuk hotel. Stay overnight at your lodge in Dirapuk.

• Day 12 (23 Aug'2024) : 3rd Day Trek To Zuthulpukh Via Kuber Kund / Khande Sanglam

  Wake up early today and then have a mesmerizing Golden view of Mount Kailash. See this holy mountain as it changes it colours when the first sunlight starts falling on its surface. Once done, start your trek towards Zuthulphuk Gompa. Explore the splendid Khande Sanglam, Kuber Parvat and Kuber Kund spotted near to each other and as believed, Lord Shiva meditated in this area. On reaching Zuthulphuk, stay overnight at a guesthouse on sharing basis.

  Important remark : Technically it is possible for the travelers to take a day trek to Dolma La pass (5630 m) and Gauri Kund (5330m) today and come back to Dirapuk for another night stay here and then go to Inner Kora via Kuber Kund via Khande Sanglam the following day. But this means performing anti-clockwise trek back to Dirapukh, which is not considered correct religiously.

• Day 13 (24 Aug'2024): 4th Day trek down to Darchen

  Have an early morning tea along with some breakfast and then further continue with your trek to reach Darchen. Our vehicles will be there at a point during your trek to pick you up and drop you at your stay at Darchen where other group members who didn’t participate in the trek will be waiting for you. Stay overnight at your hotel in Darchen.

• Day 14 (25 Aug'2024) : Free Day At Darchen For Rest

  Today, relax for the whole day at Darchen and take all meals in your hotel/guesthouse/lodge.

• Day 15 (26 Aug'2024) : 5th Day Trek Kailash Inner Kora (Nandi Kora / Ashtapad)

  Wake up early morning and then, start your trek to Mount Kailash’s Inner part. During your journey, you will be visiting the Rishi Cave, Sherlung Gompa, Ashtapad, Nandi Parvat, Kailashi Gange, Atmalingam and also the Saptrishi caves. You can also visit the white lake and red lake near Atmalingam. Continue your trek and then descend towards Sherlung Gompa, finally reaching Darchen.

• Day 16 (27 Aug'2024) : Back to Darchen

  Come back to Darchen after completing the Mount Kailash Inner kora trekking. Relaxed time in the hotel at Darchen.

• Day 17 (28 Aug'2024) : Drive to Saga

  Have some breakfast and then start your drive towards Saga. Today, your Inner Kora package completes and we will finally head back to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at your hotel/guesthouse/lodge in Dongba.

• Day 18 (29 Aug'2024) : Saga To Kerung

  Have some breakfast in your guesthouse/hotel and then head towards Kerung / Keyrong / Gyirong through a scenic drive. Stay overnight at your pre-booked guesthouse/lodge/hotel in Keyrong.

• Day 19 (30 Aug'2024) : Kerung To Kathmandu Via Rasuwagadhi

  Have some early morning breakfast and then start your drive towards the China-Nepal Border in order to complete the custom and other immigration formalities. Once done, head towards Kathmandu while passing through Syabrubesi and Dhunche. Stay overnight at Kathmandu’s pre-booked accommodation.

• Day 20 (31 Aug'2024) : Leave from Kathmandu
