Mount Kailash Mansarovar 'Parikrama' by chartered helicopter in Tibet
For decades the devotees were asking for helicopter service near Mount Kailash for parikrama. In the previous days due to the Chinese army restrictions in the region this was only a dream. But now from April'2026, Max Holidays has made this possible for the pilgrims. First time in the history of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, pilgrims will be able to do Mount Kailash parikrama by helicopter. The special helicopter stationed at Darchen (Mount Kailash base in Tibet) will take off for a short trip and parikrama of Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar. Those with inability to perform the parikrama of Mount Kailash on foot or by horse are now able to do the Mount Kailash parikrama by helicopter.

Important Remark: This Kailash Mansarovar helicopter tour organised by Max Holidays in association with the airline in Tibet and local partners is specially designed for those pilgrims who are not able to perform the kora/parikrama of Mt. Kailash on foot or pony. The helicopter service requires pre-booking to be done through Max Holidays New Delhi head office. This service is strictly on first come first serve basis and subject to weather conditions. The airline in Tibet, Chinese Army and other local authorities retain the right to cancel or change the operation of the helicopter trips near Mt Kailash. Important Remark: This trip is for darshan and parikrama of Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar through chartered helicopter flying from darchen, Tibet. The operation of the helicopter for Kailash Mansarovar is completely dependent on weather and permissions from the local army / authorities. Max Holidays operates Kailash Mansarovar helicopter parikrama trips on a daily basis for all pilgrims.

| Only the traveller will be authorised to cancel his/her trip bookings. All cancellations must be sent to our office by email in a prescribed format. Refund will be strictly based on the cancellation policy mentioned above (or other as may be negotiated by the traveller, in writting, at the time of booking). The booking advance amount paid to the Company includes a non-refundable service charges of INR 5,900/- (including GST) and the same will not be refundable under any and all circumstances, after booking. If the trip is called cancelled by the Company due to any reason, the Company shall refund the entire amount including the advance booking amount paid by the traveller. However, the Company shall not be liable for any additional expense on the traveller arose due to such trip cancellation. After receiving the refund request from the traveller in prescribed format, processing time for refund will be 15 working days from the date of cancellation form is received. The refund will be made only in the bank account of the person who has made the payment for the booking. The refund process may take upto 15 days after approval by the Company. No refund is applicable for cancellation beyond this date, for no-show and for any unutilised services. |
